Monday, Sept. 27:

Burlington Edison 11, Mount Baker 0

Mount Baker’s struggles continued last week on the road at Burlington-Edison. 

A young team, the Mountaineers have only a single senior on their roster. It was Mount Baker’s largest point differential of the season as they fell to 0-6 overall following the loss.

Sedro-Woolley 2, Meridian 1

The Trojans' up-and-down season continued, losing a close one against Sedro-Woolley last Monday. 

Meridian's lone win was a statement 6-1 victory over Nooksack Valley on Tuesday, Sept. 21.

Tuesday, Sept. 28:

Lynden 8, Nooksack Valley 0

The Lions added onto their strong season start with a shutout victory on the road at Nooksack Valley. They got their fourth league-victory of the year, and moved to 4-1 overall with the win.

It hasn’t been easy thus far for the Pioneers, as they dropped to 1-5 overall with the loss. 

Ferndale 3, Lakewood 1

Earning their third win in a row, the Golden Eagles came out on top against league-opponent Lakewood. 

Ferndale advanced to 5-2 overall following the victory.

Wednesday, Sept. 29:

Sedro-Woolley 1, Mount Baker 0

The Mountaineers matched their closest game of the season at home against Sedro-Woolley. The team is now 0-7 overall this year after the loss.

Mount Baker has scored one goal all season, and they will look to get on track offensively when they travel to Oak Harbor on Tuesday, Oct. 5.

Oak Harbor 2, Meridian 0

Coming off of a close loss against Sedro-Woolley, Meridian was shut out at home on Wednesday.

The Trojans fall to 1-5-2 overall this season, but will look toward a winnable match against Squalicum on Tuesday, Oct. 5.

Thursday, Sept. 30:

Ferndale 1, Anacortes 1

Recording their first tie of the season, Ferndale concluded their match against the Seahawks all knotted up. 

The draw snapped the Golden Eagles’ three-game win streak that saw them allow only one goal to opponents over that span. They are now 5-2-1 overall this season.

Ferndale’s match on Monday, Oct. 4, at Lynden Christian was cancelled, so the team will look for a win at home against Nooksack Valley on Thursday, Oct. 7.

Burlington-Edison 4, Lynden 2

Lynden lost their first league match-up of the season at home to undefeated Burlington-Edison on Thursday, dropping to 4-2 overall. 

The Lions had won their previous four matches, all of which were league contests. 

They will travel to Sedro-Woolley for their sixth-consecutive league match on Tuesday, Oct. 5.

Nooksack Valley 0, Sehome 8

The Pioneers lost a tough match on the road at Sehome on Thursday. It was their second-straight eight-point loss after getting their first win of the season a week earlier.

Saturday, Oct. 2:

Nooksack Valley 2, Friday Harbor 2

Nooksack Valley took an island trip on Saturday to play their second game in three days, returning home with a tie against Friday Harbor.

It was the Pioneers’ first draw of the season as they moved to 1-6-1 overall. They will play host to Mount Vernon on Tuesday, Oct. 5, rounding out the day’s exciting slate of games.
