North Cascades Hwy. reopens
LYNDEN — Sections of West Main Street are closed to through traffic on three days this week. Detours will be in place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Puget Sound Energy is doing preparation work for installation of underground electric lines in the area.
On Monday, May 10, closure was at the west end of Main near Berthusen Road. On Wednesday, May 12, closure is in a middle section, requiring use of Redwood and Curt Maberry roads as a detour. On Thursday, the work area is just east of Curt Maberry Road.
