These are views of the window vandalism damage done to vehicles in Lynden lately.

LYNDEN — Since Dec. 11 there has been a rash of vehicle windows broken around town, apparently without anything being stolen, confirmed Police Chief Steve Taylor.

About a dozen vehicles have had windows smashed and broken, Lynden Watch reported.

“This mischief has happened in numerous areas, so it seems that it may have been done by a person or persons driving around in a vehicle,” the Watch account said.

Citizens can help by checking any outdoor security cameras or video doorbells, if near a vehicle hit, to see if footage reveals anything. Lynden Police do not have any leads yet.
