LYNDEN — Two diseased pin oak trees along Front Street will be removed this week.

Ken’s Tree Service will do the work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day from Wednesday through Friday, city Public Works announces. There will be three separate street closures over the days; flaggers will be present.

The spots of closure are on Front between 15th and 16th streets on Wednesday, then between 11th and 12th on Thursday, and at both spots on Friday. White chalk marks the trees for removal.
