This weekend is the last at Mt. Lehman near Abbotsford, BC

WHATCOM — Husbands of Hallmark Channel watchers, listen up. Here’s an out-of-stocking idea: Take her to tour the homes seen in the TV films. They’re right close by near Abbotsford, B.C.

After the first weekend of the self-guided tours, just Dec. 21-22 remain.

Guests can arrive at any of the six homes within walking proximity to begin the tour, but parking is recommended at Tuscan Farm Gardens, 6834 Mt. Lehman Rd. The Mt. Lehman community area is slightly northeast of Abbotsford.

Maps will be provided, and homes participating in the tour will be marked with a sign.

Tickets are $20 each or $50 for a family. They are available online at or at the door of a house.

The six featured homes have been in more than 20 Hallmark movies, most of them Christmas-related.

All proceeds of the tours go to International Justice Mission Canada, which supports people rescued from human trafficking.

One of the homes is the Tuscan Farm Gardens farmhouse, decorated with flowers from the farm to create a natural, botanical Christmas. A family with seven grandsons has created a miniature Christmas train scene in a secret room in the attic. The other homes are Heronsbridge, a modern West Coast estate, a country farmhouse, a European-inspired cottage, and a rustic barn.

At each stop, enjoy the way different families decorate for Christmas and hear stories from IJM’s work. There are complimentary treats and warm beverages at some of the stops.
