LYNDEN — Three community programs will benefit from the 15th annual Lynden Tribune Readers Care Fund.
Helping those in urgent need, giving will go to the Project Hope Food Bank, Lynden Community Center and Beacon for Life. All have been recipients before and continue to need support.
The Readers Care Fund will take tax-deductible gifts through Dec. 31, 2020. A form for giving is printed on page A/.
Administration will be through the Mount Baker Rotary Foundation so that the entirety of all giving can go to the nonprofits.
Project Hope runs the food bank and associated direct-support programs serving the needy of the Lynden area.
Beacon for Life assists individuals with depression, addiction and other mental disorders in finding appropriate treatment.
The Lynden Community/Senior Center, though officially closed in the coronavirus pandemic, continues to prepare a hot meal each weekday that can be picked up by or for its senior members.
