Comic also has a charity foundation
LYNDEN — Larry the Cable Guy, one of the country’s top stand-up comedians, will perform Thursday, Aug. 15, as part of the Bank of the Pacific Grandstand Entertainment Series at the 2019 Northwest Washington Fair.
Known for his blue-collar humor and “Git-R-Done” catchphrase, Larry the Cable Guy has made millions of people laugh for nearly two decades through personal appearances, television, movies, videos and albums. His road to stardom included the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, which also featured Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall, and performing in the “Cars” franchise of animated movies as the voice of Mater.
Larry the Cable Guy also created the Git-R-Done Foundation, which has donated more than $7 million to various charities.
Tickets to see Larry the Cable Guy are now on sale. Preferred seats for the 7 p.m. show Aug. 15 are $55 and reserved seats are $35. VIP packages also are available. Grandstand tickets do not include gate admission for the fair, which is required.
