SPOKANE — Northwest Farm Credit Services has awarded Lynden Christian Middle School a $2,000 Northwest FCS Rural Community Grant toward building a greenhouse.

To date in 2019 in this grant program, Northwest Farm Credit Services has committed over $183,000 to 153 projects in rural communities across Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. Since inception in 2007, a total of 1,145 grants has given out more than $1.94 million.

Northwest FCS is a $12 billion financial cooperative providing financing and related services to farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses, commercial fishermen, timber producers, rural homeowners and crop insurance customers across five states.
