FERNDALE — Bellair Airporter Shuttle services reignite on Sunday, June 21, with shuttle buses rolling toward destinations again.

There will be five round trips per day along the Interstate 5 corridor from Bellingham to Sea-Tac airport and two round trips a day along the I-90 corridor between Yakima and Sea-Tac. Everett Paine Field connections remain suspended until the airport reopens after a summer of renovations.

“Although service is resuming with a limited schedule, I am confident that the schedule will continue to be expanded based on demand, latest CDC guidance and government travel regulation,” said Bellair president Richard Johnson.

The company says it will be cleaning and sanitizing vehicles to the highest standards between each trip while paying close attention to high customer contact areas on each vehicle and encouraging physical distancing.

“As travel resumes, passengers can be assured that they won’t board a full vehicle. To help facilitate physical distancing we are committed to keeping a minimum of 40% of all seats on each vehicle empty,” said Johnson.
