NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing on the City of Lynden’s 2022 Property Tax Levy will be held at 7:00PM during the Monday, November 15, 2021 City Council meeting.  All interested parties wishing to speak to the Council, please contact the City Clerk at 360-255-7085 before 12:00 PM on Thursday prior to the council meeting to be added to the agenda.  Written comments will be accepted through 4:00 PM, Monday, November 15, 2021.

Copies of the 2022 Preliminary Budget are presently available for public view online at www.lyndenwa.org, in the Mayor’s Office and the Finance Director’s Office (between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday).

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Lynden will receive public comment on proposed revisions to the Project Manual for Engineering Design and Development Standards, Resolution No. 1042, in the office of the Public Works Department, 300 4th Street, Lynden, WA, 98264, until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021. The standards apply to the construction of private and public construction within the City of Lynden. Proposed revisions are available for review on the City website at https://www.lyndenwa.org/public-works/design-standards/.

The Preliminary 2022 budget has been filed with the clerk and may be examined at the Clerk’s Office, 103 W Madison St. after November 19, 2021. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the public hearing on the final 2022 budget will be held on December 6, 2021,  at 103 W Madison St. at 7:00PM. Any taxpayer may appear and be heard, either for or against any part of the budget with written or oral comments.
