NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 1, 2019, the City of Lynden received an application from Cedarbrook Partners, LLC, regarding the property described below:

LOT 1 OF THE VAN DYKEN SHORT PLAT, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT MAP THEREOF, RECORDED UNDER A.F. NO. 2000201901, RECORDS OF WHATCOM COUNTY WASHINGTON. ALL SITUATE IN WHATCOM COUNTY WASHINGTON.

COMMONLY DESCRIBED AS: 131 E Cedar Drive, Lynden

requesting the approval to subdivide approximately 3.05 acres into 3 parcels within the RS-100 (Residential Single Family) zone at the above noted location. The application was determined to be complete on July 19, 2019, and the notice of completeness was postmarked on that date.

Under Lynden Municipal Code 17.09.100, the final decision for this project must be made within 120 days from the date of the letter of completeness. The City of Nooksack hereby gives notice that the Nooksack City Council will hold a public hearing to consider establishing building setbacks from County-designated agricultural and mineral resource lands to ensure consistency with the state Growth Management Act, RCW 36.70A. The hearing will be held at Nooksack City Hall on Monday, August 19, 2019 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Any party may submit written comments prior to the hearing and/or submit written or oral comments at the hearing. People with special needs who will be attending the hearing are asked to contact City Hall by August 16, 2019 to request special accommodations.

NOTICE OF 2019-20 BUDGET HEARING

A Budget Hearing for the purpose of fixing and adopting the 2019-20 Lynden School District budget will be held on Thursday, August 8th, 2019, at 6:30 p.m., in the Main Street Campus Library (formerly Lynden Middle School) as part of the regular School Board meeting scheduled for that evening. Any person in attendance at the hearing will have the opportunity to be heard for or against any part of the 2019-20 budget, the four year budget plan, or any proposed changes to the uses of enrichment funding. 

The 2019-20 budget and four year plan have been placed on file in the school district administration office at 1203 Bradley Road, and a copy will be furnished to anyone requesting it.
