SMALL WORKS ROSTER

LYNDEN SCHOOL DISTRICT #504

 

Lynden School District #504 solicits interested, licensed contractors for inclusion on its Small Works Roster. This invitation is in accordance with RCW 28A.335 and RCW 39.04. This roster will identify those qualified contractors interested in submitting proposals on projects estimated to cost not more than $300,000. Qualified contractors not already registered with the district purchasing services department are required to submit an application for inclusion on the Small Works Roster. All contractors on the current roster will be required to submit a letter of continued interest on business letterhead for Lynden School District’s consideration for inclusion on the 2019 Small Works Roster, an updated application indicating the information that has changed if applicable, and a Category of Interest Form. All forms are available on the District’s website at www.lynden.wednet.edu.

If you would like the application packet emailed to you, please send your request to HoffordA@lynden.wednet.edu. Applications may also be picked up at the Facilities Office located at 501 N. 14th Street, Lynden, WA 98264 between the hours of 6:30 AM and 3 PM Monday through Friday.

The following is a summary of Ordinance No. 803-19 as adopted by the Everson City Council on May 14th, 2019. “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Everson, Washington, establishing, setting and revising sewer rates charged for usage by customers within city limits.” The full text of the ordinance can be mailed upon request.

Notice of Public Hearing 

 

The City of Everson hereby gives notice that the Everson City Council will hold a public hearing regarding a proposed site-specific rezone and related amendments to the City’s zoning and subdivision ordinances to establish a Residential-7500 sub-zone. The hearing will also address proposed regulations to establish a Density Credit Program whereby developers could access increased residential densities in the Residential-7500 sub-zone by purchasing density credits. The public hearing will be held at Everson City Hall at 7:00 p.m. on July 23, 2019. Any party may submit written comments prior to the hearing. Any party may submit written or oral testimony at the hearing. The proposed site-specific rezone map and draft amendments are available for review at Everson City Hall during normal business hours. People with special needs who will be attending the hearing are asked to contact City Hall by July 19, 2019 to request special accommodations.

NOTICE OF 2018-19 BUDGET AMENDMENT HEARING

LYNDEN SCHOOL DISTRICT #504

 

A Budget Hearing for the purpose of amending the adopted 2018-19 Lynden School District General Fund and Associated Student Body Fund budgets will be held on Thursday, July 11th, 2018, at 6:30 p.m., at the Main Street Campus (formerly Lynden Middle School) as part of the regular School Board meeting scheduled for that evening. 

The budget has been placed on file in the school district administration office and a copy will be furnished to anyone requesting it. Any person may appear at the hearing to be heard for or against any part of the budget.

Any person having a claim against the decedent must, before the time the claim would be barred by any otherwise applicable statute of limitations, present the claim in the manner as provided in RCW 11.40.070 by serving on or mailing to the Personal Representative or the Personal Representative’s attorney at the address stated below a copy of the claim and filing the original of the claim with the court in which the probate proceedings were commenced.
