Construction of the New Grandstand Foundation & Restroom Facility.

Contractors shall submit their sealed bid proposals along with their primary sub-contractor rosters up until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2021.

At 3:00 the bids will be publicly opened and the names of the submitters identified. Any interested people are invited to be present. Late bids will not be accepted. City of Sumas is requesting bids for construction of the Howard Bowen Memorial Park & Rodeo Grounds New Grandstand Foundation & Restroom Facilities located at 1550 Cherry St. and as further described in the bid documents.

Pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the project site at the Rodeo Grounds 1550 Cherry St. Meeting will be held on July 21, 2021 at 3 p.m. at the project site.

Lynden School District #504 solicits interested, licensed contractors for inclusion on its Small Works Roster. This invitation is in accordance with RCW 28A.335 and RCW 39.04. NOTICE OF 2021-22 BUDGET HEARING

LYNDEN SCHOOL DISTRICT #504

A Budget Hearing for the purpose of fixing and adopting the 2021-2022 Lynden School District budget will be held on Thursday, August 12th, 2021, at 7:00 P.M, at 516 Main Street, Lynden, WA as part of the regular School Board meeting scheduled for that evening.  Any person in attendance at the hearing will have the opportunity to be heard for or against any part of the 2021-22 budget.

The Personal Representative named below has been appointed as Personal Representative of this estate.  Any person having a claim against the decedent must, before the time the claim would be barred by any otherwise applicable statute of limitations, present the claim in the manner as provided in RCW 11.40.070 by serving on or mailing to the Personal Representative or the Personal Representative’s attorney at the address stated below a copy of the claim and filing the original of the claim with the court.  The claim must be presented within the later of:  

1. thirty days after the Personal Representative served or mailed the notice to the creditor as provided under RCW 11.40.020(3); or

2. four months after the date of the first publication of the notice.  

If the claim is not presented within this time frame, the claim is forever barred, except as otherwise provided in RCW 11.40.051 and 11.40.060.  This bar is effective as to claims against both the decedent’s probate and non-probate assets.
