CITY OF LYNDEN

Residential Monthly DUE DATE CHANGE

To better serve the needs of our growing community, the City has undertaken the extensive task of implementing a new computer software system. As part of this new system the City will be required to move the due date for all residential and commercial utility bills to the last day of each month. The new due date will take effect as of September 30, 2020. The City understands that this will be a change for our current pre-authorized withdrawal customers. The City will be notifying our new bill payment provider of the date changes. All customers that have an existing pre-authorized withdrawal option with the City will have their due date automatically changed to the last day of each month.

To supplement the new software system and to enhance our billing efficiency the City has partnered with Xpress Bill Pay. The Xpress Bill Pay option will offer you more choices to pay your utility bills. If this new due date does not work for you, please go to www.lyndenwa.org and click on the Xpress Bill Pay link. Once you sign up for a free account, you will be able to view the current utility bill and choose an auto withdrawal due date that works for your financial needs.

The new online bill payment provider will allow you to pay with a credit card, debit card, or electronic funds transfer. Customers may also make payments by telephone at 1-877-265-5866 or by mailing the payments to the following address:

Payment Processing Center

City of Lynden

P.O. Box 429

Pleasant Grove, UT 84062

If there are any concerns regarding your current utility bill payment options, please contact the City of Lynden at 360-354-2829. We will be more than happy to help in any way possible.
