Michele Neff, age 66, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was known for her love for the Lord and her happy ways.
Michele was born on Nov. 4, 1953, to parents Douglas and Frances (Barton) Neff in San Jose, California. She was one of 11 children. Michele graduated from Campbell High School, then went on to be a secretary’s assistant at Grace Community Church in San Jose.
In 1988 Michele and the family moved to the Lynden area where she worked many years in food service first at Meadow Greens and then at the Lynden Senior Center. Michele enjoyed crocheting, making aprons, Winnie the Pooh and Snoopy too. She loved her Woods Coffee and had a great memory for birthday and anniversary dates. She cared for everyone else, especially her parents, before herself.
Michele was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Sharon (Paul) Reimers and Marilyn Bushey.
She is survived by siblings Stanley (Marian) Neff, David (Elayne) Neff, Robert (Margaret) Neff, Stephen (Jody) Neff, Janis (Blaine) Beck, Jon Neff, Linda (David) Vaughn, Daniel (Janean) Neff; brother-in-law Paul Bushey; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
