Bonnie King passed on to meet her beloved Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, March 20, 2020. She was always friendly, kind and encouraging to everyone she met.
Bonnie was born on July 18, 1938, in Ellensburg to parents Raymond and Genevieve (Ettles) Frederick. She graduated from Snohomish High School.
After the Korean War ended, the handsome soldier who came home next door caught Bonnie’s eye. Bonnie and Dale King were married on Oct. 5, 1956.
For many years Bonnie answered phones for Harold Phiel and American Breeders Service, then worked for Sprouse for a time. Bonnie enjoyed sewing and cake decorating.
Bonnie and Dale were members of Grace Baptist Fellowship of Lynden. You could find her volunteering in the kitchen and with custodial duties at the church. Bonnie loved the Lord and passed his love and teachings on to many grade school children in her 20 years of teaching Sunday school.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Dale and son Jerry.
She will be greatly missed by her son Jon (Corey) King and their children Noah, Emilie and Liv; son Mike (Jene) King and their children Stephen and Becky and great-grandson Elijah King-Draper; and daughter Lauresa (Mark) Robinson and their children Jen, Eric, Alex, Lucas and Troy (Rachel); brother Marty (Donna) Frederick; sister Karen Hawken; and numerous other extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
