Katie VandenBos and Tyler Voight were united in marriage on June 24, 2018, at Evergreen Gardens near Lynden, with Pastor Chris Whyte officiating. A reception followed.
The bride is a daughter of Steve and Sherry VandenBos of Lynden. Country and Terri Voight of Puyallup are the parents of the groom.
Serving as maid of honor was Kara Swanson. The bridesmaids were Ketta VandenBos, Austin Tompke, Lindsey Turner, Brittney Keesler and Sasha Childers, and the flowergirls were Eraylah Tompke and Eliza Swanson.
Serving as best man was Shawn Tompke. The groomsmen were Nathan Simon, Chris VandenBos, Morgan West, Alex Shane and Jon Ng. Noah Tompke and Oliver Swanson served as ringbearers.
The bride is a graduate of Lynden Christian High School and Western Washington University and currently teaches second grade at Bernice Vossbeck Elementary School in Lynden.
The groom graduated from Yelm High School and Western Washington University and is a rehabilitation counselor for Sound Vocational Services.
After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is living in Bellingham.
