He is retired from ministry in the Christian Reformed Church, having served churches in Everson, Hull, Iowa, and Edmonton, Alberta. He also taught Bible classes at Lynden Christian and Bellevue Christian schools. Jack served our country as a navigator on a B-24 fighter jet during World War II, receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross and Purple Heart awards.
