Ed Mills

Ed Mills of Lynden is celebrating his 80th birthday. Ed was born May 24, 1940, in Loogootee, Indiana, to Earl and Catherine Mills, the youngest of 12 children. He relocated to Seattle in 1961 and then to Lynden in 1999. Most of his 40-year work career was in marine construction for Manson Construction of  Seattle. Ed loved serving his communities and the world through church food banks, missions, gleaners and specific projects. In retirement he began intarsia woodworking displaying, selling or gifting. He is devoted to his family: wife Sue of 52 years; two daughters, Tiffani and Wendy; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren plus a third coming in July. If you wish to acknowledge Ed’s birthday, he would love for you to drive by his 1903-B Aaron Dr. home marked with a large birthday sign, wave and honk greetings in the week of his birthday.
