Ron and Luanne Alvord

Ron and Luanne Alvord of Lynden are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. They were married on June 29, 1980, in Bremerton. Ron is retired from being a general contractor and bus driver, Luanne retired from teaching school. Their children are Erin (Brian) Clemmer of Lynden, Jennifer Alvord of Los Angeles, Jodi (Kenny) Tietz of Bozeman, Montana, and Jana Alvord of Talent, Oregon; and they have four grandchildren. They attribute their lasting marriage to a commitment to one another and to God as well as a whole lot of love. Due to COVID-19, this occasion will be celebrated quietly at home.
