LYNDEN — “Anne of Green Gables” is the fall play of Lynden High School performing arts students Nov. 7-10 at Judson Auditorium, 516 Main St. Four shows are at 7 p.m. Thursday and Saturday, and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
This production will be directed by Tina Miller, with costumes by Kim Silva, choreography by Ashlie Blaske and sets by Bob Miller.
“This new dramatization captures the charm and excitement of L.M. Montgomery’s enduring classic about an orphan girl, Anne Shirley, from her first encounter with her austere guardian to her thrilling graduation from Queen’s Academy,” acording to publicity. “The play faithfully recreates the memorable events and characters from the brilliant novel. All the tragedies and triumphs that mark Anne’s growth from adolescence to early adulthood are in this touching production.”
It is an adaptation by Joseph Robinette of Dramatic Publishing Company.
All tickets for general admission seating are available only at the door prior to each show. Cash only please.
Adults admission is $10, seniors/students $5; children age 5 and under get in free.
