Lucella Van Lohuizen
Lucella Maude (Little) Van Lohuizen passed away on Jan. 24, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lucella was born in Bellingham on Sept. 30, 1942. She graduated from Meridian High School in 1960. Lucella was employed by the Aberdeen Daily World newspaper for more than 40 years.
Lucella was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Van Lohuizen, and by her parents, Ralph and Oma Little.
She is survived by a son, Steve (Jodi) Van Lohuizen; daughters Robyn and Leann Van Lohuizen, all of Aberdeen; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Rose (Bill) Griffin of Bellingham, Anna Lou Parker of Ferndale, Doris Brown of Lynden and Lola (Tom) Stone of Lynden; and three brothers, Bob (Colleen) Little of Coulee City, Wash., Ron (Carolyn) Little of Marysville and Elmer (Judy) Little of Davenport.
Burial was at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen on Jan. 30, 2010.
