Lesley Kamphouse and Bert Sorin announce their engagement, which took place on Oct. 17, 2009. Lesley is a daughter of Neil Kamp-house of Sumas and Bonnie and Bryan Allem of Lexington, S.C. She graduated from Nooksack Valley High School and Seattle Pacific University. Bert is a son of Mr. Richard Sorin of Irmo, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Pieter Groot of Spartanburg, S.C. He graduated from Dutch Fork High School and the University of South Carolina and is the vice president of Sorinex Exercise Equipment in Irmo, S.C. An April 10, 2010 wedding is being planned.
