Florence Kredit
Florence Kredit, who resides at the Christian Health Care Center in Lynden, is celebrating her 100th birthday with some family events. She was born on Feb. 5, 1910, to Teake and Maggie De Jong. She is a member of Third Christian Reformed Church of Lynden. Florence's husband of 50 years, Tim Kredit, passed away in 1984. Their children are Jean and Albert Van Dalfsen, Clarice and Barry Blankers, Harlan and Linda Kredit, Mavis and Harold Terpstra, Carolyn and Jim Wynstra and Eleanor and Bill Rietkerk. She has 22 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, with three more on the way, and four great-great-grandchildren. Her grateful family continues to praise God for her long life.
