NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 24, 2013, the City of Lynden received an application from Peter Blankers, regarding the property described below:
LOT 1 AND 2 OF THE FAIRSIDE PLAZA LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT NO. 6 AS PER THE MAP THEREOF RECORDED IN THE AUDITOR’S OFFICE AF #2110302490, LOCATED IN WHATCOM COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
ALL SITUATE IN WHATCOM COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
COMMONLY DESCRIBED AS: 203 & 285 18th Street, Lynden.
Requesting an amendment to the comprehensive plan to rezone approximately 1.38 acres from local commercial (CSL) to multi-family residential (RM-4).
After reviewing the environmental checklist and other information on file with the agency, the City of Lynden has determined that this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. Copies of the DNS are available from the City of Lynden, 300 4th St., WA. The public is invited to comment on this DNS by submitting written comments to Amy Harksell, Planning Director, no later than September 4, 2013, at 300 4th Street, Lynden, WA 98264.
