County roads getting shoulder, centerline rumble strips

WHATCOM ­— A rural county road safety project is being done for three weeks. On 38 miles of roadway, this consists of grinding rumble strips on the centerline and shoulder and installation of centerline recessed pavement markers and paint. These county roads will be done: Birch Bay-Lynden, Everson-Goshen, East and West Smith, Hannegan and Slater….
