Notice of Application and Public Hearing
The City of Everson hereby gives notice that on March 4, 2013 a consolidated application for a short plat and subdivision variance was received from Douglas Cruea. The applicant seeks to subdivide an approximately 1.08-acre property into three residential lots. The applicant is requesting approval of a subdivision variance to allow one of the newly created lots to have no direct frontage onto a public right-of-way, but rather to be accessed by way of a 20-foot wide shared access and utility easement. The property address is 1104 E. Main Street, and the property is situated in the NE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 32, T40N, R4E of W.M., Whatcom County, WA within the City of Everson. The subject property is identified under County Assessor’s tax parcel number 400432 152526. The public comment period for this application is from March 13 through March 28, 2013. Written comments may be submitted during that comment period to Everson City Hall at the address shown below.
The Everson City Council will hold a public hearing regarding the proposal at Everson City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on April 9, 2013. The complete application is available for review at Everson City Hall during normal business hours.
