Sisters Abi (11) and Julia (13) Broussard faced off on opposite sides of the net during Lynden’s sweep of Meridian on Oct. 1. Abi is a sophomore middle blocker for the Lions and Julia is a senior middle blocker for the Trojans. The two sisters played together on Meridian’s team last season, but Abi transferred to Lynden prior to this year. Both went to school in the Lynden district before moving several years ago.
