A new border crossing station opened on Monday for Aldergrove, British Columbia, requiring the finishing touches on a new routing and stretch of State Highway 539 (Guide Meridian Road) in the United States. Near the Lynden-Aldergrove border crossing, lanes now widen just north of H Street Road and curve east around the Duty Free shop instead of the traditional routing west of Duty Free.
